Book review: Apartment 16 by Adam Nevill

There is something strange about apartment 16.  It has been empty for years and yet there are noises within.  When Apryl inherits a neighbouring apartment from her great-aunt, she discovers a series of disturbing journals and resolves to uncover the truth about apartment 16.

This is a genre, supernatural horror, that I wouldn’t normally read but I found the idea behind the story intriguing.  However, its execution was disappointing.  The writing was verbose and the plot drawn out.  On the plus side, it was interesting enough to keep me reading to the end to discover what happened.
