Job search: how’s that CV coming along?

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAIt might be the holiday season but that doesn’t mean that I allow myself to lose focus of my goals and projects.  Each day, I’ve spent ten to fifteen minutes working on my skills-based CV.  I’ve completed the eduction and career history sections, and am now working through the skills areas: communication and planning/organisation are the areas covered so far.  I’m tackling this by going through my chronological CV and picking out the parts that are appropriate to each section.  Approaching it in this way is making it surprisingly easy.  It’s a first draft so it doesn’t have to be perfect – just something that can then be worked on and improved.

Just ten minutes a day can help you keep on track with your goals.

What are you going to set aside ten minutes for?
